_{Hi everyone! Today I took this photograph in a beautiful garden in the Dandenongs (Cloudehill ), the gardens had a gorgeous pond with lotus flowers.. I couldn't resist taking a photo!

In Buddhism the pink lotus flower is the 'supreme' flower of Buddha.. (achievement of enlightenment) ..It has many different meanings in other cultures.. The lotus flower has a special symbolic meaning for me personally - as the lotus is seeded deep within muddy water, it begins to bloom above the water and flourishes into the most beautiful flower..
It has a deeper meaning to me.. I was once the seed that was beneath the murky water, struggling to see the light ahead .. Now, I have finally begun to grow as a person and flourish, overcoming inner battles and finding the beauty in life again... and no longer needing to look back to the past...
