The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Question for you all: What do you find hot?

Since I created this journal I am going to tag `frozenpandaman, `AndyGassner, aaand `zacthetoad(because he never does personal journals lol).

The only rule is that you have to add at least one or two thumbs after what you find hot.

On another personal note:

December 7th was my birthday- I tried to keep it semi-secret but obviously everyone knew.

lol! Thank you all very much for the lovely and sweet birthday messages, I thanked you all back but I wanted to mention it here. It meant a lot to me to know that people care. I wanted to keep it sort of quiet because I didn't want it to be a big deal.

Anywhosits. On Friday I saw Charlie and I had an amaaazing time. I really was the happiest I have ever been (well I always am, but he made me feel very loved). On Saturday we spent a lot of the day on the beach together, took lots of photos, chilled and he took me into Melbourne city for a romantic dinner by the Yarra river- called "World restaurant". We sat outside under some shelter and watched the rain and boats on the yarra. He bought me hot pink roses and lingerie. Really sexy lingerie.

I think that'll be enough about that haha.

On my actual bday Sunday, I had a blast with my family and Charlie, they also took me out to a restaurant. Lots of food for my birthday.

David is a wonderful deviant, he truly is. He is constantly friendly to everyone he meets, always puts in effort to be positive and polite. In general, he is a kind and welcoming person, someone that everyone wants to be friends with.
Unfortunately, negative things happen to good people. He has had some financial struggles and the people on DA have come together to raise money so he may keep his internet connection running, no one wants to see him go.
I wish I could do more to help money wise, but I'm no more richer than the next person. So in recognition of David, I will be featuring him in this journal for a month.
